[Toronto, Canada – 10 April, 2025] Intelex Technologies ULC, a leading global provider of cloud-based environmental, health, safety and quality (EHSQ) management software, has announced its Q1 2025 product launch as part of a new quarterly release cadence. This update focuses on enhancing user experience, expanding training capabilities, strengthening environmental compliance tools, and introducing a new streamlined safety solution for small and medium-sized businesses.
“These updates build on an already strong foundation. Some are very substantial, some may look simple, but all solve real challenges. As someone who’s previously deployed Intelex as both a practitioner and a system admin, every single one would’ve made a meaningful difference in the rollout and day-to-day use,” said Scott Gerard, a former customer, now Senior EHS Solutions Consultant at Intelex.
Enhanced EHSQ product experience drives efficiency
The Q1 2025 release includes multiple user experience enhancements designed to remove friction and streamline EHSQ workflows. Notable improvements include searchable dropdowns that eliminate excessive scrolling, open text translation that removes language barriers for global teams, biometric authentication for mobile users, dependent questions functionality on mobile devices, an improved inspection layout UI for checklists, and new incident management merge templates that simplify report creation.
These thoughtful enhancements allow users to navigate the system more efficiently, helping frontline workers and EHS managers alike focus less on technology and more on driving safety outcomes.
Enhanced environmental regulation reporting for oil and gas customers
For US-based oil and gas customers using Intelex’s ACTS product, the company has introduced a new Content Pack that streamlines environmental compliance for the EPA’s New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) subparts OOOOa and OOOOb. This solution helps Air Compliance Managers and EHS professionals simplify the identification of reportable sources, acquisition of inspection data, and generation of properly formatted regulatory forms.
New safety and regulatory compliance training content through MARCOM partnership
As previously announced in March, Intelex has expanded its training management capabilities and now offers access to over 300 industry-specific safety and regulatory compliance training courses through a strategic partnership with The MARCOM Group, Ltd. This comprehensive library features adaptive learning technology that enables employees to skip familiar content and focus on knowledge gaps, reducing training time by up to 50%.
These interactive courses are available through Intelex’s Training Management application or customers’ existing learning management systems, with content tailored for diverse industries including healthcare, construction, transportation, food processing, and industrial settings. All content is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect current regulations.
Introducing Intelex Essentials for small and medium-sized businesses
Also previously announced in March is Intelex Essentials, a streamlined version of the company’s core safety solution specifically designed for small and medium-sized businesses with less complex safety programs. The solution includes four core safety applications—Incident Management, Observations, Inspections, and Document Control—alongside intuitive platform features, out-of-the-box reports, and an innovative self-serve implementation experience.
