An accomplished executive with a proven track record of growing businesses and enhancing customer and shareholder value, Craig Halliday joined Intelex in 2019 as Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he is responsible for growing market share globally and driving operational excellence to deliver superior customer experiences.
A graduate of Edinburgh University and a Chartered Accountant, Craig’s leadership journey includes a long roster of successful technology company transformations. His career highlights include progressive management positions at J.D. Edwards, PeopleSoft, and Oracle from 1996 to 2005. Craig was crucial in driving successful exits as COO at Mincom in 2007, where he grew revenues from $160M to $230M in 2 years while more than tripling software revenue. He also served as COO and then CEO of eServGlobal, an enterprise software company serving the telco market. During his tenure, one company division sold to Oracle for $100M, and the company entered into a joint venture with MasterCard for its market-leading mobile money offering. He subsequently served as EGM – Software for RPMGlobal, from 2013 to 2017 where he led the repositioning and transformation of the firm from a mining services company to an enterprise software company.
Most recently from 2017 to 2018, Craig was the CEO of EMS Software in the meeting and room scheduling space with clients including AIG, Accenture, and Yale University.When Craig isn't in the office, you can find him spending time with his family, playing golf and curling.
Mark Jaine is the Executive Chairman of Intelex Technologies. Prior to becoming the Executive Chairman, Mark was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the company for over a decade, and his leadership and pursuit of excellence have taken Intelex from a niche software provider to a global leader in the EHS and Quality technology market.
Mark has played a founding role in almost every aspect of Intelex's business through his progressive roles since he joined the company in 1999, including VP of Business Development, Executive Vice President, and then taking over as President in 2006 and then President and CEO in 2009. His strategic approach has grown Intelex into an EHSQ market leader through the conception of many advancements that have now become industry standards. Under Mark's leadership, the company has experienced exponential growth in recent years with multiple offices worldwide, over 1300 customers, and multi-year double-digit revenue growth including more than 40% CAGR over the past decade.
In 2019, Mark made the strategic decision to bring on a Chief Executive Officer to focus on driving operational excellence, enhanced customer value, and expansion of the company's footprint on a global scale, allowing Mark to focus on strategic corporate and market vision to guide Intelex into the next phase of its evolution. A driving force behind the company's success, his leadership has resulted in many independent recognitions for Intelex, including Deloitte's Best Managed Companies, Fast 50 Technology Companies, TechConnex Company of the Year, Canada's Top Employer, and Best Small/Medium-Sized Employers in Canada. Mark is also the recipient of the AceTech Leadership Award from AceTech Ontario, an association of Canadian Technology Companies.
Chief People Officer
Faith is one of the newest members to our leadership team as the Chief People Officer. Faith has a unique combination of business acumen and strategic vision with broad and deep expertise in talent management strategies with over 20+ years of experience. Faith joins us from Randstad Canada where she was the Chief People Officer and has also held various executive and senior leadership roles in financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, engineering and manufacturing where she led HR strategic initiatives. Faith has been recognized on HRD’s Hot List in 2016 for the Who’s Who in HR in Canada and had been named one of Canada’s Top 23 Black Canadians to watch in Canada. When Faith isn’t at the office, you’ll find her spending time being active, hanging with her daughter, traveling or catching the latest movie.
Chief Financial Officer
James is Chief Financial Officer at Intelex. He has worked in a variety of industries including SaaS, retail, airlines and telecommunications. Over the last 10 years, James has held various transformative strategic roles and has cultivated expertise in growing private equity backed technology companies. Before joining Intelex, James was CFO at Hootsuite from 2011-2015 where he was instrumental in delivering global growth for the SaaS based social media management system. From 2006 - 2010, James was Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Canpages, a Canadian local search company that achieved a full strategic exit when sold to Yellow Media. Away from work James enjoys time with his family, hiking, photography and sport.
Chief Commercial Officer
Steve is one of the newest members to our leadership team as the Chief Commercial Officer. Steve comes to the team with a strong breath of knowledge across sales, services, customer success, retention, marketing, enablement and overall business strategy. Steve is a successful software executive who has lead many companies from start-up status to post IPO including most recently Vidyard, where he was the President and Chief Operating Officer and Hootsuite, as the Chief Revenue Officer. Outside of work, Steve spends time with his family, wife Shannon and children, Haley and Wynn. You will also catch Steve on his boat or travelling in his spare time.
Chief Strategy Officer
Elie is Chief Strategy Officer at Intelex and is responsible for aligning organization vision, strategy and delivery to expand the customer base. Prior to joining Intelex, Elie was Director of Product Management and Director of the EHS & Sustainability Practice at an EHS Software company. Elie has designed Environment, Health and Safety, Quality, Corporate Governance, and Risk Management software solutions for the past 15 years and worked with hundreds of global companies to improve their compliance and overall performance in these areas. Elie has a Master of Science in Advanced Mechanical Engineering at Bristol University, UK, and a Master of Engineering at E.N.S.A.M. College, France. In 2005, Elie graduated with a Master of Philosophy in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the Cambridge-MIT Institute program, at Cambridge University, UK with first degree honours. In Elie’s spare time, you’ll catch him hitting the links and enjoying a round of golf.
Chief Product Officer
Mike is Chief Product Officer at Intelex. He is a seasoned information technology professional with more than 20 years of experience in the software industry. With an educational background in Computer Science Mike gained his passion for web-hosted, database driven systems while working in a new media company that was one of Canada’s first to develop and host streaming video content. This provided a perfect backdrop for him to join Intelex in 2001 as an IT specialist and system administrator just as Intelex migrated to a web -based platform. Mike has played a lead role in the technical vision and product development strategy behind the innovative V6 platform, market-leading mobile strategy and emerging technology initiatives. In his current role, Mike ensures innovation, collaboration and excellence within the Product organization. Outside of the office Mike spends as much time as possible in the great outdoors with his wife Diane and their three sons.
SVP, Enterprise Sales
Cory is our Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales. Cory brings more than 20 years of experience in both the EHSQ and Technology industry where he possesses in-depth industry knowledge which he has translated into highly successful environmental, health and safety (EHS) strategies for large, multinational corporations in the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Infrastructure, and Services sectors. Cory has extensive international experience with a proven track record of forging strong strategic relationships designed to drive growth and expand product commercialization. Cory is responsible for Intelex's go-to-market planning and execution. His responsibility also extends to growing Intelex’s partner ecosystem, which includes local and international implementation, reseller and third-party development partners. In Cory’s spare time, you’ll catch him enjoying family time usually in the kitchen or at the dinner table.
Roula Vrsic is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Intelex, leading the global marketing strategy to accelerate Intelex’s revenue, customer success, brand awareness and market share goals to drive the expansion of the EHSQ market. Roula is a passionate marketing executive who is no stranger to driving high-growth for technology companies in the process automation, IoT, mobile, and security arenas. She comes with over 20 years of technology marketing experience and has spent her career at the edge of business and innovation, bringing disruptive technology to market in competitive environments.
Most recently, as Chief Marketing Officer with Agreement Express, Roula was a vital member of the senior leadership team which led the company to be acquired in May 2018. Prior to that, she was CMO at SOTI Inc., where she led global marketing and market expansion through direct and channel-based approaches and key partnerships including Google, Samsung, Microsoft, Lenovo, Zebra, Honeywell, and a large reseller channel. Roula has also held senior marketing leadership roles at WatchGuard Technologies, BorderWare (acquired by WatchGuard), and Platform Computing (acquired by IBM).
Roula has been recognized for her marketing leadership, including recognition by CRN Magazine multiple times as in its Women of the Channel and Channel Chief annual rankings, as well as being named Top Female Executive in 2015.
When Roula isn’t working, you can find her spending time with her family which includes a few rescued animals, or at a horse show cheering on her daughter as she tears up the arena competing on the provincial equestrian circuit.
VP, Revenue Operations
Daniel Marcus is Vice President of Revenue Operations at Intelex where he works to continuously improve customer service. His decade of experience in the environmental, health, safety and quality industry began at Intelex in 2007. Over the years, Daniel has made significant contributions to almost every department within Intelex including sales, services, product management, finance, professional development and operations. His Revenue Operations role includes ensuring smooth operations of Intelex’s day-to-day systems; working with the senior leadership team to identify, track, measure, analyze and interpret key performance metrics; and working company-wide to help organize and execute key initiatives. Through these activities, he is able to ensure that customer needs are met and any problems are quickly corrected. Daniel holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Western Ontario.
VP, Mid-Market and SME Sales
Jason is Vice President of Mid-Market and SME Sales at Intelex. Jason first joined Intelex in 2005 as a sales executive and has since had several expanding sales management roles. In his current role, Jason is responsible for sales strategy and execution of Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality Management SaaS software for organizations in the SME and mid-market size categories. His strong sales leadership has helped scale the sales organization from early growth stage through to one of the largest EHS and quality software vendors. This effort included implementation of sales and operational processes, go-to market strategies, team building, forecasting, pipeline management, partner development and transition to SaaS. Prior to joining Intelex, Jason has held roles with Prophix Software and Bombardier Aerospace. Outside of work, Jason enjoys travelling with his partner and spending time outdoors in cottage country.
SVP, Customer Experience
Mike is the SVP of Customer Experience at Intelex where he strives to ensure customers get the most out of their partnership with Intelex. Mike joined Intelex in 2011 and has held various roles supporting our clients and partners. Mike is passionate about helping our clients unlock the value of Intelex and achieving their EHSQ outcomes. Prior to joining the technology industry, Mike started his career in broadcasting which makes Mike our resident MC. In his spare time, you can find him playing his stratocaster on a small stage somewhere or jamming out with Wellington U (our Intelex band), trying not to double bogey on the golf course, or spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
VP, Strategic Alliances
Kristen is the Vice President, Strategic Alliances here at Intelex. Based in Chicago, Kristen oversees global partnerships with consultancies, independent software vendors, and technology firms. Kristen brings over 13 years of experience in environmental, health and safety management. As a professional engineer, she has hands-on experience implementing environmental compliance programs and strategies for large, multinational manufacturing corporations and defense agencies. Prior to Intelex, Kristen served as Vice President with CH2M, a global engineering and consulting firm where she was responsible for spearheading highly successful environmental sales strategies, which led to double digit growth in the EHS consulting and information management practices, as well as industrial market verticals. When Kristen isn’t in the office, you will catch her chauffeuring her girls to/from dance or going for a run around her neighborhood.
VP, Solution Management
Bryden is our Vice President of Solution Management where he oversees the design and creation of Intelex’s Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality applications. As part of the product organization Bryden contributes to the overall product vision and strategy though a strong connection with the EHSQ market. Bryden has been with Intelex for over 15 years and started out in our sales department as an Account Manager. Throughout his career here he has played a vital role in the business development and product strategy of the company. Bryden’s expertise spans the full breadth of the Intelex platform, solutions and developing deep understanding of ever-evolving customer needs. When Bryden isn’t in the office, you’ll catch him hanging off a cliff face in a vain attempt to send his sick project.
SVP, Infrastructure and Security
Donald is our Senior Vice President, Infrastructure and Security and brings over 25 years of experience in the technology sector. He has extensive experience with applications, having managed dozens of trading floor applications, combined with specialized applications for large multi-national enterprises and international telecommunications marketplaces. He started his career as a programmer working with software applications and prior to Intelex he was CTO and EVP Product Management. Donald has worked with high performance, high scale applications and focuses on building applications that thrive through best practice application and software development. Donald has been with Intelex for over 5 years and directs all aspects of our strategic product development and operations. When Donald isn’t in the office, you will find him on the golf course playing a quick 18 holes, hiking or home renovations.
SVP and General Manager, EMEA
Neil recently joined the leadership team in late 2018, as SVP & GM EMEA to lead and scale the growth of Intelex Technologies operations in Europe. Neil is responsible for Intelex's go to market execution in EMEA expanding the team to support a growing customer base in Europe strategically developing close collaboration with both existing clients and driving growth of new prospects, sales, marketing and partnerships. Neil brings with him exceptional experience growing and driving large-scale enterprise software and SAAS companies globally. Neil has worked with many large multinational companies across different vertical industries. Previoulsy, Neil has held various senior executive positions with high growth software companies in the Business Process Management space at Opentext (formerly Metastorm) and fast paced start-ups in the Media Industry including Ooyala. When Neil isn't travelling around Europe you will find him making fine chocolates as he's a chocolatier and spending time with his three children and three dogs.
SVP, Research and Development
Assad Jarrahian is Senior Vice President of R&D at Intelex. In this role, Assad is responsible for product execution and delivery, making sure Intelex customers continuously experience quality and value out of our product offerings.
Assad has long had a passion for development, leading engineers to deliver great products and have fun in the process. His twenty years of Enterprise software experience include product leadership positions at EMS Software, Pearson and DigiData with hands-on development and research positions at Oracle, IBM and Google Research.
Assad has a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Colorado and a Bachelors in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In his spare time, he's either whitewater kayaking or spending time creating culinary delights with his wife.
